Adhesives
The Adhesives Division further breaks down the product into the following sectors:
- Construction/Do It Yourself (DIY): Adhesives made for this sector are primarily used for indoor and outdoor construction and home improvement projects. These adhesives can be made as glues, contact cements, epoxies or aerosol sprays.
- Industrial: Products for this sector are formulated to withstand chemical exposure, high temperatures and mechanical shock, which are key aspects of industrial settings. This sector also is one of Aura Energy’s areas of strength, as the company can tailor-make the product to fit client needs.
- Hotmelt Adhesives: These adhesives are typically applied in hot liquid form and become a solid state when they cool down. They are used in areas such as product assembly and packaging.
- Emulsion Adhesives: These adhesives are water-based and can incorporate various solvents to improve substrate penetration and drying.
Amino Resins
The amino resins-based products manufactured by Aura Energy TT are used in diverse environments, including the creation of engineered wood products such as plywood, the production of slow-release fertilizers, as binding agents for animal feed pellets, and also as an inexpensive alternative to foam insulation.
Urea Formaldehyde Concentrate
Also known as UFC 85, this product is the most user-friendly form of formaldehyde that can be stored for two years and doesn’t require heating for storage purposes. It has a greater degree of stability and requires less processing for UF resins.
